▪台灣花蓮縣發生地震。今天（4月3日）上午7時58分左右，台灣花蓮海域發生7.2級地震，震源深度15.5公里。台灣消防部門表示，至上午11時30分，已確定地震造成最少4人死亡，90多人受傷。根據報道，初判震度4級以上地區：花蓮、宜蘭、竹苗、中部、北部、嘉南、高屏。日本向沖繩本島、宮古島及八重山地方發出海嘯警報，推測會出現三米高的浪。台灣氣象部門預測，未來3至4日可能出現規模達7級的餘震。A 7.2 magnitude earthquake rocked Taiwan on Wednesday (Apr 3), the strongest tremor to hit the island in at least 25 years, killing one person, injuring dozens and sparking a tsunami warning for southern Japan and the Philippines that was later lifted. Taiwan's fire department said one person is suspected to have been crushed to death by falling rocks in the mountainous, sparsely populated eastern county of Hualien where the epicentre was, with more than 50 injured.
